President–Kim Adair

Kim moved to Tucson from Colorado to be near the work of some of the top cancer research in the world at Arizona Cancer Center and the University of Arizona. Aside from owning her own successful small businesses, she has 40 years of advertising and marketing background. Kim was a senior advertising executive for a popular Colorado magazine, creating several popular community leader print campaigns, along with her own cancer print campaigns. She also freelanced for The Golden Transcript Newspaper, in the same role. Kim drew her passion for marketing and advertising from her earlier days working on Madison Avenue in New York City, as a photographers agent.

Kim is a colorectal cancer survivor and advocate since 2006.

Kim is a former board member for Drive Smart Colorado.

She is a Vail Arizona Rotarian.

She likes to camp and canoe. Her favorite string instrument is the cello and aspires to learn to play someday. She would like to travel the world, all while continuing her work to help end colorectal cancer.

Treasurer–Laine Wong

Laine is currently a licensed Real Estate Agent with Centra Realty. Her specialty is residential homes to purchase or sell. 

Her activities have been:

  • Tucson LGBT Chamber of Commerce Foundation, President (current)
  • HCW Hosted, Board member (current)
  • University of Arizona LGBTQ Community Council, Past Chair, (2 years)

  • Scuba Diving Instructor (PADI) (25 years +)

She just recently was awarded the prestigious Godat Award for leadership in the Tucson LGBT Community (2021).

Her hobbies are Scuba Diving and travel.

Jim Harris

Jim Harris is a professional photographer with more than 35 years of experience. While he enjoys every facet of photography, he specializes in high-end food photography, with more than 400 restaurants to his credit.

He is the father of three, and a United States Air Force Desert Storm veteran. In addition to his professional photography pursuits, he is also the CEO of a local optical-based tech company.

Anita Kellman

Anita, the founder of Kellman Beat Cancer Boot Camp (KBCBC) has worked
in the medical field for over 30 years and is a clinical liaison for
patients undergoing biopsies and other procedures.

She is a wife, mother, grandmother, medical professional and “Sarge”
to all her Troops. Anita founded KBCBC to empower and inspire cancer
survivors and cancer patients to take charge of their lives.

The Program provides support, education and camaraderie for cancer
patients, survivors and those who love them.

In 2001, Anita attended a Navy Seal exercise class and in 2004 she
adapted these techniques to start an intensive support group built
around physical fitness, instead of “woe is me”, where she shares her
knowledge, experience and infectious enthusiasm.

Anita created KBCBC to empower cancer survivors and patients to be
able to take charge of their lives while teaching them to condition
their bodies and minds for the fight of their lives.

Now with thousands of Troop members throughout the United States
involved and reporting improved quality of life, her mission is
expanding this powerful program throughout the country to help cancer
patients and survivors conquer their fears and take charge of their
health.

Advisory Board Member Richard H. Webb

Richard is an entrepreneur, bodybuilder, motivator, author of “Fat Burning Secrets: Efficiency in Fitness”, and founder of Web By Webb Digital Marketing. His bodybuilding competitions culminated with winning back-to-back 1st place standings in the Masters Division as well as 1st place in the light weight division on famed Muscle Beach in Venice, CA. He continues to motivate others in fitness and general health through his YouTube series titled #2MinutesToABetterYou.

He has 30+ years experience in both the fitness and software technology markets. He loves to travel and does so frequently. He lives in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico with his wife.

Richard has been a longstanding Ambassador for Butt Check inc, for more than 10 years.

We are excited to have him serve as our technical advisor for BC, as well as his continued support for our efforts to help end colorectal cancer, especially in raising awareness.

Denise Meredith

Denise was born in Brooklyn, New York. She was one of three
women to earn a degree in wildlife biology in her graduating class
from Cornell University. Two weeks later she became the first
woman professional hired by the US Department’s Bureau of Land
Management (111M). She also has an MPA (Organizational Behavior)
from University of Southern California and a certificate in economics
from Berkeley.

Denise’s career is highlighted in two of her books:

The Year a Roof Rat Ate My Dishwasher: An Arizona Survival Guide
for Entrepreneurs-her new book deals with the business and non-
profit worlds of Arizona

Media & Communications
Denise’s forte is communications. She teaches online
communications & leadership courses for Cornell, and live sports
marketing classes for ASU. Denise has been been a part-time
journalist for 20 years, writing for the Phoenix Business journal,
Arizona Republic, Examiner.com and many other magazines &
publications. Denise helps companies with recruitment and helps
individuals and businesses with media relations.

In 2017, Denise has most recently been awarded an Outstanding
Woman in Business award and a Phoenix Award in Consulting
Services, Past awards have included: Top 100 Phoenix Leaders;
Valley’s Most Influential-Phoenix Business Journal; (First-ever)

Courtney Little

Courtney is a Functional Trainer and Holistic Health Coach who is passionate about helping women create health and balance in their lives through in person individual and group coaching as well as virtual training and massage. Her playful approach to exercise makes achieving an active lifestyle fun, effective, and long lasting.  

Sports and movement have always been a large part of Courtney’s life and upbringing, from competitive swimming on a state level all through her school years to multi-week family hiking trips. Courtney grew up in Tucson, AZ, but has spent the last 16 years on and off living in Belgium. Her passion ignited 7 years ago when she started her own business as a Holistic Health Coach.  She received certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. After moving back to Belgium in 2015, she returned to school once again to expand her knowledge while continuing to work as a Health Coach. She understands the growing and evolving of this practice and has continued her education, completing post graduate certification in Functional Training,   certifications as a personal trainer with distinction, sports massage therapist, and a post graduate certification in adventure education.  She loves exercise and adventure sports of all kinds, including martial arts, yoga, rock climbing, cycling, and swimming.  She loves to inspire others and holds a safe space of acceptance for her clients.

Courtney is also a certified KuBo Tudi Trainer, a unique martial arts from Belgium that combines Wushu (Kung Fu) and Olympic Boxing. She teaches both in person and virtual martial arts based fitness classes called Rebel Arts. 

Courtney recently moved back to Tucson with her two children, Sage and Ember, in order to be closer to her family and to soak up the sunshine!
